SouthArk offers free Fall Prevention training to eligible small business employees, beginning Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Fall Prevention training courses begin at 8am, are two hours in duration, and will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays. The instructor for all classes has been chosen based on her special expertise, including OSHA training certifications.
A bilingual instructor assistant will soon be available to assist with those who have limited English-language skills.
All course materials are OSHA-approved, and the courses are offered free-of-charge to eligible independent contractors and employees of small businesses.
Courses will be offered on Monday and Wednesday mornings, in conjunction with C-Stop training, beginning January 10, 2018.
To arrange a time other than those scheduled, please contact the Center for Workforce Development at 870/864.8453
Note: This training does not replace the mandatory C-Stop training, required by several local industries.
